You can’t kick your legs to jump up and grab the edge. You just fall.

This was a different book for me to read, lost interest rather quickly, however, once I start a book I must finish.If this is the exception rather than the rule for this author then I might be inclined to read a different selection.

You know that stillness that comes over you when you're impacted by an event? There's almost a sound to the stillness, like a hummingbird hovering over your head. It's the kind of stillness that occurs when I have a clearer understanding and something deep within me changes. Tears rolled down my cheek as I felt and heard that same stillness while reading "The Ruby Diary".
Ruby desperately needed unconditional love which she wasn't able to find during her physical life. It was only after her death that love and kindness reached through the veil and offered her unconditional love that changed every thought and feeling about herself.
I highly recommend The Ruby Diary for anyone who has experienced, witnessed or even considered physical or emotional child abuse or suicide.
